Harmful Chemicals and the Environment
Store brand laundry detergents contain chemicals, toxins and
ingredients that can be harmful to people, clothing, animals and our environment. Soap residues found on clothing can add to a variety of skin concerns. Multiple caustic agents can damage clothing as well as add to the concern of environmental toxins. These harsh ingredients can also be associated with reported allergic reactions and accidental poisonings each year. Eniva Blue does not contain certain fillers which can build up on clothing and damage fibers. Also, many detergents contain "phosphates" which can harm the environment and eventually the water supply. Eniva Blue is phosphate-free and safe for the environment.

Chlorine - Used in sterilization procedures. Causes severe skin
reactions. Has been known to cause nausea, respiratory illness, and respiratory collapse. Chest pain, coughing, difficulty breathing, or excessive fluid in lungs. Moderate to severe irritation to mucous membranes. Negative effect on the immune system and linked to early miscarriage, sperm abnormalities, and birth defects.
Petroleum Distillates (also Naphthas) - A broad category encompassing a number of chemicals obtained directly from the petroleum refining process. An ingredient listed as a "petroleum distillate" or "naphtha" is first a synthetic, and second, likely to cause detrimental health or environmental effects.
Phosphates - Studies suggest that long-term phosphate exposure can cause organ damage and other harmful effects such as: diarrhea, unsteadiness, excessive bloating. Contributes to environmental concerns of algae blooms in fresh water ponds and lakes that can lead to the suffocation of aquatic plants and animals.
Benzyl Acetate - Linked to pancreatic cancer, its vapors are irritating to eyes and respiratory passages, and when absorbed through the skin it may cause systemic issues.
